We all like to have our homes decorated for the holidays and nothing really quite speaks like the seasonal spirit like a Christmas tree. The tree and its trimmings are usually the focus of the decorations and big or small it’s nice for them to make a statement. Here are some for your tree this year.

Real or Artificial?

When it’s time to buy a new tree, will it be a real Christmas tree or an artificial one, and just what kinds of things will you need to consider? With a real tree there’s the issue of the pine needles and allergies, and in addition, you’ll need to dispose of it after Christmas. If you go for an artificial tree, disposal is not an issue, but you’ll have to find a place to store it once you take it down. If you want a real tree you also have to think about how it will stand up and what in. Artificial trees come readily supplied with a steady base and maybe even with integrated lights. Lastly with a real tree your color options will obviously be limited.

Green or Not?

Artificial trees now come in an absolute rainbow of colors so it’s no longer just a case of having to choose between green, red or silver. The only artificial tree that’s ever going to look anything like a real tree one that’s green, but having a colored one will give you so many options to play with. For instance, you can choose a Christmas tree that compliments your room décor or you might just want a tree in your favorite colour.

So, real or not, just have fun trimming the tree and make sure there’s plenty of room for all those presents around it.
