Using Non-Traditional Christmas Greetings
One of the chores we may not enjoy in the holiday season is the annual card mail-out. Even if your list is organized and up to date, it can be a lengthy task to choose and write personal Christmas greetings in a lot of cards. You can use your computer to help save time for those other Christmassy things you need to be getting on with.
E-Cards
E-cards are the computer representation of a card which is selected and transmitted online. You select the image and write the greeting, it is “sent” on the specified day to an email address that you designate, and then the recipient “opens” it and looks at the picture and reads the message. If you choose to send your Christmas Greetings in this manner there are plenty of sites offering both free and paid for e-cards with designs for all tastes, some which can be personalized, some that are animated and others which include sounds and music.
3rd Party Cards
There are a number of online personalized card retailers. The process is pretty much the same as for e-cards except that an actual card is posted and the service always charges a fee. The personalization options are wider as you can upload photographs to include in your card. To send a basic card is not cheap in comparison to a box of cards and a book of stamps but it’s great for special people.
Both of these options are fantastic if you want to do a little something different this year when sending your Christmas Greetings.
